I LOVE online shopping, and when I moved into my first apartment I searches the sh** out of Amazon for cute first apartment essentials, and let me tell you, Amazon is obviously PACKED with cute and practical first apartment essentials.

What to buy before moving out?
If you didn’t actually move yet, and you are just planning for your first apartment move, there are some stuff you can by before moving out!
Before I moved into my first apartment, I was buying different kitchen essentials, glass cups, mugs, and stuff like that, and collecting them in a large box in my mom’s basement lol
But in general, I would also recommend having some cleaning supplies ready in advance for you to use when you first move into your first apartment and start cleaning it asap.
Amazon Apartment Must Haves - Kitchen:
People always get annoyed when I say that wine glasses are an essential, but if you are a wine girly that also like to host, you obviously need wine glasses! 😉
What I like about this ice cube tray is that it has a lid and also a bin.
Making it super easy to store your ice cubes, and not move them around from the ice cube tray to a different box, and I also love that it has a lid to keep your ice cube fridge-taste-free.
Pots and pans are obviously a must-have kitchen essential, but this detachable handle pots & pans set is next level!
I hate organizing regular pots and pans because it’s just annoying to try to make everything fit in the drawer with all of the handles and stuff.
So this CAROTE pots and pans set is a game changer, because you can just take off the handles from the pots and pans and easily organize everything!
I never knew how much I needed an ELECTRIC can opener before actually getting one!
It makes the whole can opening process so much EASIER than having a regular manual one.
I love using an oil dispenser for my kitchen.
I’ll start off by talking about this 2 in 1 oil dispenser bottle that is perfect for cooking!
Before finding this I had my regular oil dispenser (and I still have it, I just use it for coffee syrups now), and I also had an oil spray bottle.
It was nice, not too many complaints, but with this oil dispenser you can both spray the oil and also pour it.
All in one dispenser, without using different bottles.
I love these heat resistant silicone lids because they make the perfect lids for almost any sized pot or pan, they are also perfect for covering leftover bowls you want to put in your fridge, and they are perfect as extra lids for your pots and pans when cooking.
First of all, I LOVE these metal bag clips from Amazon.
They are super high quality, very strong, and perfect for bags.
BUT, I also want to talk about these bag spout clips, which are perfect for bags of rice/granola/etc – because you have the cap feature that you can use to easily pour the granola/rice/etc without it spilling everywhere.
These silicone stretch lids are perfect for your leftovers/meal prepping!
They are reusable covers, which is eco friendly and perfect for keeping our environment safe 🙂
Strainer clips are so much better than regular strainers (depends on the purpose of course)!
But for pasta, or anything you are cooking in a pot, using a strainer clip is so much easier than having a separate strainer to use.
Amazon Apartment Must-Haves - Bathroom:
A shower organizer is one of the more obvious Amazon apartment must haves, but I need to talk about this rotating shower organizer!
I’m a huge fan of using lazy Susan’s for organization.
It’s so much easier to see everything and reach easily when you have a lazy susan.
I use this rotating shower organizer, and I highly recommend it!
This no hooks shower curtain is the perfect shower curtain for your first apartment, because you don’t need any shower rings, so you can easily hook on the curtain rod the shower curtain.
PLUS, my favorite part – when it’s time to clean your shower curtain, you can easily snap off the shower curtain part, throw it in the laundry machine, and easily put it back up.
I recently got this cute bath mat, and I LOVE IT.
If it’s your aesthetic, you’ll be happy to know that it’s super high quality, and makes the perfect bath mat for your bathroom.
It also comes in sage green, orange, and gray.
As a long hair girlie, and also as a dog mom that washes her dog every once in a while, this hair drain catcher is a life saver for my bathroom 😉
This electric spin scrubber makes cleaning my bathroom SO MUCH EASIER.
It’s adjustable, so it’s easy to reach any part of your shower or bathroom tiles, and has different brush heads for different purposes.
You can also use it for other cleaning purposes around your apartment, but I love this for cleaning my bathroom.
Amazon Apartment Must Haves - Living Room:
This chunky knit throw blanket is the ultimate apartment must have!
I love this throw blanket because it’s so cozy, soft, and perfect for snuggling on the couch.
Plus, a throw blanket is definitely one of the most important first apartment essentials 😉
If you are into LED lights, I highly recommend this TV LED light string that is perfect for adding a beautiful hallow to your tv area lol
Also, I got this LED string light from Amazon, and I hanged it on the wall behind my couch, and it makes the back of my couch glow and it looks so pretty!
I love using an essentials oil diffuser and good smelling candles to make my living room feel amazing!
One of the best ways to decorate your living room is by getting a unique flower vase and putting some beautiful real or artificial flowers in it!
Having a storage accent table is definitely an apartment hack worth looking into 🙂
You can use it to store throw blankets or some clutter you don’t’ want to display, and then you have the perfect storage solution – storage space in your living room and a cute accent table next to your couch.
Amazon Apartment Must Haves - Bedroom:
For the girlies that like having a water bottle on their nightstand for the night, you are going to love this bedside water carafe set!
I love having a cute and fluffy bath mat!
This is my bath mat that I got a few months ago, and beyond the fact that it’s insanely cute, it’s also so fluffy and comfy and I LOVE getting out of the shower to it.
Another cute option is this beautiful bath mat from H&M that also comes in a beautiful khaki green color.
Magic space saving hangers are my favorite organization hack for any sized closet!
Basically, you can hang 5 different shirts on one magic space saving hanger, that takes space of 1 clothing hanger.
Meaning, you can fit so much more clothes in your closet!
I love velvet hangers because clothes just don’t fall off of them, unlike regular plastic hangers.
Obviously a satin pillow case isn’t a life saving apartment essential, but it is definitely one of my favorite Amazon apartment must haves!
Satin pillow cases are good for your hair and skin.
They help your hair with fizziness, helps prevent tangles during the night, and helps prevent split ends.
For your skin, it helps retain your skin’s moisture, and I also know that it reduces sleep creases, which is perfect for reducing wrinkles in the future.
Amazon Apartment Must Haves - Organization:
If you are looking for a practical place for your cleaning supplies, you can’t go wrong with this large cleaning caddy that can perfectly store all of your cleaning supplies, and is also super easy to use and reach on a daily basis.
An expandable silverware drawer organizer is perfect for any sized silverware drawer!
You can adjust the organizer to fit your silverware drawer, and if you move and have a smaller/larger silverware drawer, you can adjust this to fit the drawer’s size.
If you don’t want to have a countertop knife block, you can organize your sharp knives in your silverware drawer with this drawer knife block!
I have this as well, and I love using this for my larger and sharper knives in my drawer.
I hate having plastic bag organizers everywhere, and sometimes it’s hard finding a place for them.
This plastic bag organizer is perfect for storing and easily getting plastic bags on a daily basis.
These stackable storage drawers are PERFECT for organizing any little belongings!
I use these in my bathroom for different toiletries and makeup, and if you have a cabinet under your sink and not drawers, this is a perfect solution to add drawers space in your bathroom cabinet.
I honestly can’t live without these drawer organizers!
I use these to organize ALL of my drawers in my apartment. They come in so many different sizes, and they are perfect for organizing everything and anything.
