Kitchen Organization Ideas:
Pull-out Drawers
Having pull-out drawers are a great way to maximize kitchen storage space. All you need to do is to insert these drawers inside of a cabinet, and that’s it!
Pull-out drawers are better than regular cabinet shelves since you can store more in them instead of in the cabinet’s shelves.
Use Racks Inside Cabinets
This is a great way to organize grocery bags/pots, etc. These racks are a HUGE space saver.
I highly recommend using it, especially if you have a small kitchen. You can also use racks to store spices, kitchen towels, and more!
Maximize Storage Space Under The Sink
A lot of people don’t know how to organize theirs under the sink cabinet. They just put their stuff inside and that’s it.
There are many ways to organize the under the sink cabinet and to also maximize the space and store more things inside.
Here are a few under the sink organization essentials you can use:
Use Plates Racks
These plate racks are a great way to store more while saving space inside cabinets since you stack them on top of each other, but it’s still convenient to grab a plate once you need to.
Organizing Food Inside Containers
I always use baskets/other organization containers to organize dry food, and basically any other drawer in my kitchen.
Having an organized drawer in your kitchen is very important if you want to know exactly what you have, to make sure that everything is easy to find, and to also avoid wasting food (since you know what you have).
Use a Lazy Suzan Inside Cabinets/Drawers
I always recommend using a lazy Suzan to organize your belongings because it’s a great way to organize things since you can spin it every time you need to reach something.
Lazy Suzan is great for organizing things inside your fridge, or also inside kitchen cabinets. You can use it to organize cans, oils, and even different spices!
Organize Your Fridge Properly
I already have a fridge organization guide on my blog, which I highly recommend reading.
But anyway, here are a few important fridge organization essentials you should use:
Hang Trash Bags On Rollers
I never know where to put my trash bags in my kitchen. Before knowing this hack, I used to just throw them out in my cleaning supplies drawer.
Since hanging trash bags, life definitely became a little easier 😉
You can easily hang them under the sink, grab a trash bag whenever you can, and it’s also a nice space saver as well!
Use Shelf Organizers Inside Cabinets
I already told you about the plate organizers, and how smart it is to organize things upwards instead of using the only shelf itself.
There are many great shelf organizers you can use to organize your cabinets!
Here are a few of my favorites:
Maximize Drawer Space With Containers/Drawer Dividers
I don’t know about you, but I can’t stand un-organized drawers. I love having organized drawers because I can know where everything is, and nothing goes missing.
And that’s a fact.
I recommend using drawer dividers or storage containers to organize all of your small kitchen essentials.
If it’s utensils, or also small cooking essentials. Also, using a drawer organization tray is a great way to make a “junk drawer” look organized and put together.
And that’s it for today!
These were my TOP 10 kitchen organization tips to organize a small (or large) kitchen!
